Master of Public Health (MPH)
At SUNY Downstate, you’ll gain the skills and experience to become a leader in public health! Our program has a special focus on the needs of urban and immigrant communities. Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA)
Prepares you for leadership in any public or private healthcare setting. The program offers a flexible hybrid format including online instruction, in-person classes and real-world experience.

Advanced Certificates
Advanced Certificates can be earned online in one year in a number of key areas including Public Health, Clinical Epidemiology, Public Health Geriatrics, and Climate Change and Planetary Health. Credits can be used towards an MPH down the road.

MD/MPH and MD/MHA Duel Degrees
We offer duel degrees for medical students who also wish to pursue a Master in Healthcare Administration or Master in Public Health.
